haha ,that's kind of funny. i have a son who's 5 now, and i think if i read it to him, only some of the jokes would land. at 4 i kind of doubt he'd have enjoy it, i think he'd just find the stories kind of mean and unpleasant.

Yeah windows was on every PC, but you couldn't do jack shit with Windows. Unless you were playing solitaire or minesweeper, you were exiting to DOS to do any actual work. Even WordPerfect was DOS-based until Version 6.0 came out in 1993 or so.

the happy ending works better. i've seen the original movie and i've seen the stage version. they are just different beasts. For one thing, Moranis is wayyy more innocent and likable than his black and white and stage counterparts.

the problem is those pins in the 7-11 were always run down and broken. locations like barcades that put pins up now tend to take much better care of them

Seattle, Portland, Pittsburgh, San Francisco, NYC, and Washington DC all have big scenes. here in the DC/VA/MD area, there are several different leagues running simultaneously, and…

that place is great, but it's run by one guy and there are just too many machines for one person to maintain. as a result, a huge percentage of the games there are pretty run down.

well shit i am posting from a female dominated punk rock show at the sidebar tavern in baltimore … alice bag, leggy, plurl, and short skit. back when i played, my band was here literally 75+ times, and the number of women and POC we shared the stage with probably could be counted on two or three hands. i am psyched…

man, KISS, RHCP, and Aerosmith have spent the last decade in a 3-way dead heat for worst rock band of all time, but this might put Aerosmith into the lead, if only temporarily.
