Looks like it uses command blocks, so technically yes. Unless you mean survival, then no.

Honestly I can't imagine ever wanting to buy digital at their current speeds. 45 GBs of data is nothing to sneeze at even with a fast connection. If it's going to take them several hours to deliver content to me I might as well run to the nearest store to get my games.
I'd be a lot more ok with it if I felt like they were improving their backend architecture. I only get about 10 mbps download speeds from PSN, despite having a wired 250 mbps connection. Steam is easily able to max my entire connection and I don't even pay them for the privilege. PSN however seems to struggle. My…
How many hours of play is that? Does the controller go to sleep when its not in use? And yes I do think the lights affect battery life. I'm glad I can at least dim them now.
Side question: How is everyone liking PSN+ now that we have to have it for online? Still feel like it's worth it? Do you feel like it's useful on the PS4?
I thought there was going to be a feature for this system that would allow you to actually share games with people on your friends list and hand control of your game over to them, like if you were stuck on a part you couldn't do yourself or something. I swear I remember Kotaku talking about it at some point.
Lots of people have mentioned controllers dying quickly. I don't think I've ever had this problem on mine, but then I tend to charge my controllers after every use. I've only ever had it die once on me and that was after about 8 hours of play (I normally only ever play 2-4 hours at a time). Am I just lucky or do you…
Depends what you're wanting one for. Right now it's a better gaming machine than the PS3 in pretty much every way. I never owned an Xbox 360, so party chat is a big deal to me and it's amazing. I personally love the new controller, even if I almost never use the touchpad.
What technical limitations? It's explicitly stated in SAO that all VRMMOs are based on the same engine that gets released at the end of the Aincrad Arc. Every new MMO is basically just a re-skin of the first.
The carry over stats part was intentional and personally I thought it was pretty neat. Spend 2 years in one MMO gaining skills and any relevant skills transfer to your new MMO. No reason to completely start over.
I don't particularly enjoy the single ear design of most mics. I'd rather just use a dedicated headset with a built in mic. Also helps keep noise levels down when playing and eliminates the echo problem that comes from having an open mic with speakers blasting game audio.
I think right now it's not much of a performance benefit. But AA is a crutch that we use because we have monitors that are too low res for our eyeballs. The end goal should be to make the monitor high enough resolution to not need the crutch anymore and just focus on rendering the important stuff.
I thought one of the main benefits of super high res displays was the "natural AA effect" that comes from having pixels too small to see. Presumably the end goal is to have a 4k display and not use AA at all. Devote the GPU power saved to other things like draw distance or something.
I'd take PS2 level graphics if it meant we could explore everything
To me it looks like a good blend between AC and GTA gameplay. I am hoping that their city has a bit more depth than GTA V did. It always felt a little hollow because of the fact that you couldn't enter most buildings. It was big and beautiful, but still kind of shallow.
I never did hear what caused the crash, only that "speed was a factor". Were they just driving at like 100 mph or something? Because it's hard to imagine getting in a wreck at 45 mph and the car catching fire. Possible, but it seems unlikely to me.
*Hangs my head in shame*
Sorry. :/
The pass through feature (as I understand it) is just an extra port and some software. The software is already written and removing one HDMI port wouldn't save them much money, especially as they'd need to setup a whole new manufacturing line for it. No way that removing that would save them any money at all.
From someone who owns a PS4... probably by offering a lot more media features than Sony currently does. I didn't particularly need those and my friends already have PlayStations, but I can see why people would want an Xbox and at $400 it is definitely in a competitive range.
