I will have to look into this. We've been using the PS4 party chat feature instead, so perhaps we missed something.

I'm actually really enjoying the new Extinction mode, but the regular multiplayer is just... bleh.
Oh how I wish I could convert my friends to PC :(
The thing that bothers me, is that it's obviously a step back from BF3's party system which I already thought was rather broken. BF3's system would only work about 50% of the time in joining us all together, but then they basically decided to just scrap it for BF4 rather than fix it.
PS4. Haven't played in awhile, but the method near launch was to go to the multiplayer tab and it would show a list of games in which at least one of your friends was playing in (though not which friend). You'd then attempt to join that game, which would hopefully work. And usually because you're joining at the same…
You can join a game with all your friends in a squad together?
I was referring to the normal way. Which is trying to join a game that has a friend playing in it, hoping you get on the right team, then shuffling squads if needed. Haven't played for awhile now, but last time I tried it averaged about ~20 minutes for me and two friends to all get in a match on the same team in the…
Good to know. Hopefully BF5 has a better party system. IMO it really holds back an otherwise great game.
Does anyone know if EA is going to implement a way to join a game as squad? Or are we stuck with the roundabout method that we have now?
This is why I think zombies need to be much more of a threat. Zombie movies work because the zombies are unstoppable if you're on your own. The only way to survive is to band together. But you don't know if you can trust others, so you form tightly knit groups that are hesitant to interact with others. This is where…
My prediction is for a planned holiday release that slips into 2015 anyway due to unforeseen delays.
What I find interesting is that I'm pretty sure I was hearing about subsurface scattering back when the PS3 came out. Guess they finally have enough power for it on the PS4.
Commenting now because I know this post will just get updated for the next 8 years or so.
So a lot of anime is stupid true, but are western animated shows any better? I haven't checked recently, but it seems to me the only decent show on in the US is Adventure time. South Park/Family Guy, etc are all fine for what they do, but they are not exactly high brow entertainment either. I suppose we have decent…
I don't really agree with your comic. Not that I don't get what it's trying to say. I just don't think there are many female heart throbs out there that actually make men uncomfortable. I mean just looking at the pictures OtakuMan24 posted, those are all guys that are pretty cool. I'd like to be that person. I don't…
Yes, but I'm pretty sure Steam has around 20 million more accounts than Xbox Live does. IIRC, Sony still surpassses them all though.
Agreed. Fewer corridors would be good for everyone.
I for one would gladly take a few static objects (like immovable chairs) if that meant that main character could have realistic clothes and/or hair.
Maybe I'm just weird, but I'm still waiting for realistic hair/cloth movement and actually decent animations. I think we're getting much closer with animation (especially with MoCap) but hair/cloth is only marginally better than early PS3 days.
I've only played the mod a few times, but generally after you learn how to get around and where stuff spawns (like military bases) it's not terribly difficult to get a decent amount of stuff. And once you have a decent weapon, it's much harder to kill you, so you tend to keep getting good stuff by taking out your…
