Bulbapedia is very informative, but I typically am just looking up what moves a certain poke can use (or what level they get them) or when/how they evolve. These items are either at the bottom of the page or get lost (to my eyes) amongst the clutter of telling me when such and such pokemon appeared in the anime.

My company never releases a product that isn't on at least 2.0 version software. It's just some arbitrary policy they implemented. According to the execs it's because we've gone through the software twice before releasing anything (hahaha).

I need this in my life!

Gaming news site posts coverage on next generation console release. Crazy!

If I were him I'd still have asked for an Iron Man suit. They leave him out there practically defenseless.

It's pretty much a work around though and is basically Nintendo gifting your new console the same games as your old console. So right now it's pretty arbitrary and not easy to do.

I was going to buy it for Watch Dogs. I'm about 90% sure there will not be a price drop between now and then. So it makes no difference to me.

Wait, yesterday I thought they were clearly biased towards Xbox. Now they're biased towards Playstation (again)? I can't keep up with you people.

Would've been cool to have two hard drive spots

Well you can also just consider that you're getting a 500gb hard drive for 20 bucks. Get a small case for it and use it as a portable back up drive.

Just the fact that there is this much confusion about who is the "good guy" makes this seem like a better story than 90% of the FPS's out there. Never played any Killzone games, looking forward to trying this one out.

Well my parent's PS3 broke (had them buy it as a bluray player before bluray players were cheap) and they got a refurb. That one died in about year. So I can see how, once you got on refurbs, they might die quicker. Though Sony was no longer willing to replace the broken refurb, so my parents just got a regular bluray

My cousin tried to recover his saves when his PS3 died. He tried backing it up via computer, but the saves/hard drive was encrypted. Then when he bought a new one he found out that the old drive was tied to his old (dead) ps3 and couldn't be used by any other ps3 without formatting. He even called up customer support

So either you are the unluckiest person ever, or something about your environment must have contributed to the overheating. Maybe you put the console in a small, poorly ventilated space, maybe you live in an environment with excessive humidity, maybe your power outlets have a lot of surges, etc. Otherwise 5 YLOD

Someday in the future: Oh my god, I've spent $446.63 on Candy Crush. Why????

But I collect Steam games. Which can't be re-sold. And even if they could, everyone else already bought it when it was on sale for $2.50. I guess I'm just a lowly game hoarder who aspires to someday be a game collector.

Ya this always bothered me. Why not do the check at power on?

Agreed. Though they did (finally) fix this recently. I think they finally realized that it's a *good* thing to keep everyone's PS3's updated as much as possible.

Exactly. I mean, we can be upset or disappointed that it's not working out the way we'd hoped. But to call for someone's death? Baffling. Just... why?

This is me. And 175k seems high for this kind of game. But maybe they're just being more realistic as it seems that a lot of other kickstarters are running out of money lately.
