I thought I saw an option in the settings to choose where voice chat came out (speakers or headphones). I have mine set to headset, but even when my headset is off it doesn't go through the speakers. And like others have said you can set your voice chat to friends/crew only or no one if you wish.

What baffles me is why Sony and Ubi hadn't already figured this out before going public with the news. At least it appears as if they didn't. Now they have to deal with all this additional bad PR because they weren't prepared with a response for these questions. Businesses really hate when you cause them unnecessary

I'd call it a "Next-gen selling" personally. While it does come out on current gen, it definitely seemed designed to show off the next-gen capabilities. Well, at least as much as any launch title can.

Well unless you're willing to wait for a price drop or redesign, I don't see why not to get a console "at launch". Price drops often take at least a year, though they happen sooner if there are difficulties moving product (3DS, $600 PS3). Still, it's not a sure thing and it is usually at least 6 months or so.

From their response it sounds like Ubi just made the decision public without first contacting Sony/retailers about it so that everyone could formulate their plans on how to deal with it. I can't imagine Amazon/Gamestop/etc are too happy with Ubi seeing as how they just threw them under a bus. A lot of customers will

Hmm... I can't recall any from the PS3/360 era that went from "bundled with the new console" to being 6 months delayed. There were a lot of games with no definite release date that were promised "soon after launch" that got delayed though. Some of those games still haven't released (*cough cough* FF Versus).

Seriously??? It went from a launch title to next Spring??

I'm not sure what my issue with it was. Plenty of people seemed to handle it just fine. But my two friends and I all had issue while playing it and all 3 of us converted to invert that day. I don't particularly mind. 99.9% of games I play all support the option to change it and in the days of online-only multiplayer,

Warhawk is what switched me over to being inverted. Something about switching between ground/air controls was confusing to me, so finally I switched everything to inverted. I haven't been able to go back since then.

I specifically encountered a lot while farming some levels in the last strip of grass before the city (closest to the Pokecenter). Nearly every other pokemon was a Pikachu. On the grass patch slightly further in, Burmy's were really popular. Not sure if that would be different in your game (or maybe it's time of day

You went too far. There are pikachu in Santalune Forest and Route 3 (right after the forest). They seem to be more common in Route 3 though.

I've had a few hours where things just came together like that and it was amazing. But I really don't have a big enough or reliable enough gaming group for it to happen too often. Which is a problem in a lot of games, not just GTA V.

It's more the pacing. I get that they want you to earn stuff and maybe for some they need the hours and hours it takes to get to 30, but I'm not super fond of grinding low level missions for hours on end just to get to the good stuff. There's a reason why most MMO and such don't use a linear leveling curve. Rank up

The real question is why R* waits this long for those to show up. 30 levels takes quite a while to hit, even if you're farming good missions...

The death penalty in this game is ridiculous. They really do need to fix that. It completely discourages the fun of free mode. At the very least I'd like a special free mode area where you can just mess around with other people with no/little consequence. Right now it's just too risky to meet up with people in free

Exactly. Why can't we repeat "story" missions again? Especially when it's basically go grab drugs/car and return to person?

Yep, farmed that one last night several times. Though my teammates were idiots and kept letting people in behind me. Made 120k and several levels in a few hours.

I don't like gaming on a touchpad, which is a lot of what this looks like. But now that I think about it, most of the reason I don't like touchpads is because it can be awkward trying to "click" with same finger that's pointing. If those are separate, it might be much more intuitive. With a touchpad, my finger always

It seems like, for whatever reason, they've spaced out the good coop missions until you're a higher level. Survival is a lot of fun, but it doesn't unlock till 15, which seems to take forever. My advice would be to grind races till you get up to 15 as those seem to offer the best payouts. They really did make the

I wasn't aware that trackers/insurance even existed in Single player. Where do you find this?
