I like how the GPS quits working when I'm in a tunnel. It's the little things...

I remember the first time I stepped in to Stranglethorn. After Duskwood, it was like a breath of fresh air. And it was huge. I spent hours and hours there only to realize I was only in the topmost half of the zone.

This surprises me too. Though I think Azeroth still feels bigger as your travel speed is limited quite a bit. It can take ~20-30 minutes to get from one end to the other (from what I remember).

Hmm... I never did much research into the Hydra. Some brief googling tells me its a motion controller with dual nunchucks... I fail to see how this is at least as precise as a mouse and indeed the Maximum PC review agrees:

Sorry I wasn't being specific. I was thinking in the more general terms that cars in GTA are buggy. And if it's true that the story customizes the cars for you (haven't made it that far yet), then they shouldn't even allow them to be customized. Which would make your ability to plunk down thousands of dollars on them

As someone who's only briefly messed around in previous GTAs before I agree with a lot of this. I have played Saints Row and was hoping for a more refined, less crazy kind of game. I got it... sort of.

I really don't know how you can't come across this bug if you touch the car ownership/customization at all. Which any reviewer should do, at least once over the 30-40 hours of play time. It's especially noticeable if you customize the default cars as they just show up later reset to stock.

I really meant does the game actually support controller input. Because I guarantee if it does, there are people out there using it. Now as to whether or not they should or are any good at it, it's doubtful. All I was stating was the the PC version of BF3 currently has this issue and yet no one has taken any action on

Personally I'm hoping for a new controller. One that combines a mouse like device for quick aiming, with an analog joystick for moving. Mice are great for FPS, but WASD still sucks for general getting around.

I'd agree with you, but I'd say the number of parents that are intelligently and deliberately not following ESRB guidelines are more the exception than the rule. Most parents that do this are just being lazy. And when they're lazy it's a crapshoot as to whether or not the kid can handle it. But without anyone there

Well if it's just another closed console, then no I won't be excited. But if it's something different (and it has the potential to be) then that's a very exciting prospect indeed.

You can, but it's not always easy to do so. In my current place, I'd need to use a 100' HDMI cable. And I'm not really sure how I'd connect a KB/M or controller. I don't think wireless will travel that far and I've yet to find a reliable and non-expensive method to extend USB beyond ~15' or so. So for now the best way

Me too! Only reason I've held off is waiting on some to take the obvious step of making a dedicated box for it. Here's hoping!

That is an amazingly apt analogy! You wake up at the end wondering what happened and how did that get in here?!?

I must sadly admit that I now own three (3!) copies of Civilization 4. See I bought the physical version, but the misplaced it. So I bought a Steam version to replace the one I'd lost. I then bought a copy for a friend during the Steam sale for maybe $2, only to discover that I'd already gifted him a copy during the la

I do ok in the missions, where there's usually some nice cover nearby, but when I'm on a free range cop chase, I find I haven't quite learned to make sure there's cover where I'm parking. It would help though if my character would get of the car on the side that isn't being shot to pieces.

Still, I suppose that's rather realistic of them. Some things that were hard at first (like losing the cops) have turned out to be rather simple, once you get the knack for them. Perhaps combat will be the same.

I tried the light body armor too, but it seems to be a consumable, rather than a permanent upgrade and only seems to extend my life by maybe 2 more shots. Given that I'm still pretty poor it seems to be an extravagance that would be better spent elsewhere.

As this is my first GTA game I find it kind of frustrating... It's still a fun game, but getting out of my car in a police chase (usually to find a new one) is pretty much insta-death for me. I can't even manage to make it to cover in time usually. Hoping you become a little strong later on (only at my first heist),

I mean, maybe if I believed that dropping the story would actually result in a better product I'd agree with you. But what would really happen is they give you some token excuse and don't really improve anything, while still dropping the story (and thus the value) and keep the $60 price tag. Why lose a feature (even a
