You're still way faster than Gizmodo. I don't even think they really use the "follow" feature at all. Just individually promote grey posts as the whim takes them. It's amazing how long it can take for the first non-grey post to show up on some of the articles.

This is good (and depressing) to know. I went out and got an R4 cart for my DS and loved having all of my games on just one memory card. For portable systems I hate having to keep track of a bunch of tiny game cartridges. I always end up losing at least one of them. Going all digital seems perfect for a portable

True enough. I think there aren't many people who would be happy with that sort of experience. Though, if you're like me, you're unwilling to turn down to many graphics options and instead suffer through low frame rates because it's "prettier".

I do agree with your sentiment though. I think it's relatively rare that people are able to get into PC gaming for cheaper than the cost of a console. Is it possible? Probably. Is it likely? No. And even if you did, the machine probably wouldn't live up to the hype of PC gaming in general.

I see the idea bandied about all the time that you should upgrade your PC every few years. And while that's true if you want the latest and greatest graphics, it's not a fair comparison to console. If you just want to build a computer for console quality graphics, chances are you won't need to upgrade again until the

That's what I was pointing out. Sony proprietary cards are still $78 (on sale no less) while I can grab a similar size (physical dimensions) card at higher capacity for half the price.

Heh, right now a 64gb card would cost as much as the Vita itself. I do wonder though if they've painted themselves into a corner by going proprietary. It's entirely possible that these cards legitimately are quite expensive to manufacture. They don't have the benefit of mass production like other SD cards to help

Came here to say this. $78 for 32 gb seems awfully high. I just bought a 64 gb micro SD card for ~$45. I was expecting $50 for 32 gb tops.

They've stated that the Vita port won't be started till after the PC release. So I personally wouldn't expect it till late 2014 and it shouldn't affect development till after release.

Starbound is hoping to have cross-platform PC/Vita support so you can join all the cool PC servers. This may also include round-about mod support as the game is designed to auto-download a server's mods.

And my life ends on Nov 15th

Couldn't agree more. What the hell? I don't want to stare at a bunch of people who are silently watching a screen! Just show me the gameplay footage!

Rogue legacy seems like the perfect game for Vita

The same can be said of Xbox Live or PSN+. They both increase the cost of the console and, if you're on xbox, significantly reduce it's functionality.

Interesting that there is a picture of a non-US plug as the cover for this. Wonder what the reasoning was.

I can respect that. There are certainly TV shows and such that I don't get into just because I know that they will be milked for all they're worth to the detriment of the story.

Well Assassin's Creed's first few games were great. The whole Ezio arc was actually a lot of fun. 3... not so much. You can always just play the first few titles and then bail when it gets repetitive. COD coming out every year doesn't change the fact that the first few were great games.

As an anonymous one time comment? Sure, only words. But if someone has managed to track you down everywhere, bothered to find your address or otherwise "stalk" you (which happens surprisingly often) then it's downright scary. How can you tell if this is all bark and no bite? Would you even want to take the risk? When

This is a good point. Honestly it's been long enough that whenever HL3 comes out a significant portion of the player base will have never played HL2. They'll need to make sure the title can stand on it's own, rather than being a straight sequel. And if they're going to have to "start over" like that anyway they might

I've always been a little baffled at the idea of stretch goals. If you want to make a game for $10k and end up with a million dollars? To me that just means that a) any cost overruns are covered and b) you just made a $990k profit before the game is even made. Why spend $900,000 more on a $10k game? Make your game and
