Bring back the IH Travelall!

Doesn’t it have to be stable and viable though to be considered a new species?

Well I’m the weirdo then.... I quite liked the fox body Thunderbirds myself. Think about it, a more ‘refined’ Mustang in Thunderbird form.... I’d take it for a test drive.

Can we just stop for a moment and reflect on what a tremendous loss it was for us all to lose the perfection that was the International Harvester symbol?  THE LETTERS MADE A TRACTOR.

I do not in any way associate this car with “the ‘80's” but since Mitch said he’d go back to 1977, then there really is only one answer and as far as I’m concerned, it’s the best-looking two-door sedan ever made:

Oh NINETEEN eighties, my bad.

This is still my favorite factory paint scheme on any truck ever:

Most likely done to get a higher roof design, not to mention a little more structural integrity given the length of the body and the roof itself.

I have a feeling that this might have been due to the need for forward corner visibility thanks to the long wheelbase. A livery driver needs to see what the middle of the car is going to swing over and the dogleg pillar means it’s further back in the sightline, the driver won’t need to lean forward as much.

I also think it should be removed from the Presidents direct power to be able to make changes like that. Forget who holds the office, as a symbol, it has meaning far greater then the particular holder of the office.

I hear people decry the “4 door coupe”. How about some hate for the “pillared hardtop”?

I always thought it was both. It’s a turbo 6.

Can we go back to this? I hate SUVs.

Me! And everything and everyone else, top to bottom.

It’s late 80s, I’m about 13 and already have a reputation for being the mouthy juvenile delinquent in the family. My older cousin is drop dead gorgeous and about 16. I haven’t seen my older cousin in a few years, but we were like sisters in our early childhood.

My aunt (her mother) pulls in with her boyfriend and my
