I agree. Big corporations are also creations of regulation which seems to escape a lot of people. The little guy is fucked until we even the playing field, but that isn’t going to happen with these two parties in power.

You can cut regulations and still hold developers liable if they create deathtraps. This goes for every other industry also. A lot of regulations just create a market for businesses with connections to abuse. There are reasons why huge corporations are often behind regulations and it is not to help the little guy.
