The majority of people are employed by private companies except, whoops, Lyft drivers aren’t employees by design.

Getting a ride to a job interview is not the same thing as getting a job.

As we reported last week, Kim Kardashian has partnered with Lyft to bring “5000 jobs” to former inmates.

One of my certifications was handed to me with the print all bunched up and with some of the type running off the page. I asked if they could please re-do it and they refused. I can still see the look on interviewers faces when I handed it over. I’m still mad.

I never “got” my Ph.D. diploma because Florida State University said I owed them $60 after I’d paid them tens of thousands, and I said I’d see them in hell.

High school is definitely its own parody. Mine said everyone would get their diplomas unless they still had books out. I double checked, nothing out. No diploma. Had to come back first thing next Monday morning to get my damn paper. It was the last fuck-you they could give me, and they took the opportunity.
