You guys I’m getting a closet Monday and I’m so exited. My closet has been basically only used for attic access for 10 years because our HVAC breaks down so often. I’m having a new access put in Monday which will give me my closet back! I’ve been at Lowe’s twice today looking at closet organizing.

I actually hadn’t seen Breaking Bad until the final season had just ended. I also somehow avoided any spoilers, never read anything or talked to anyone about it. So I went into not expecting anything and just absorbing the story as I watched without opinions from anyone else.

While I think Parker has a point, I also think that those characters were framed differently than a character like Carrie - she’s framed as “flawed, but relatable, a girl-next-door”, whereas Tony Soprano was more of a “this is the human side of a terrible person”, and Don Draper was “an outward sheen of ‘class’…

I don’t think it’s that people find Tony Soprano (or Walter White) or whoever else “likable,” it’s that likability doesn’t even merit as a concern for male characters. No one ever said “ew why would you watch Mad Men when Don Draper is such an asshole?” because the whole SHOW was about him being an asshole. Shows that…
