That seems like an awfully low settlement. I’d have expected something a bit more generous.

This piece is horribly written. Check out the linked Chicago Tribune story to actually understand it— it’s more of an embarrassing anecdote than anything salacious.
I really don’t get this.
The first 15 minutes are PAINFUL to get through. I hated it. I stopped watching. I hate wacky. I hate awkward.
I never had until this year, either. They are (or were) always made out to be in such short supply that it didn’t seem fair to take one away from someone more susceptible. But that very article also convinced me otherwise, and I’m glad I took one for the immunocompromised team.
Think of it as helping people who have a compromised immune system! Even if you don’t think it helps you, it could help a preemie, or a cancer patient, or a caretaker from contracting it. Thank you!
Watch the entire pilot episode before you give up. It is fantastic.
Thank you for getting a shot. It helps the rest of us. And if you get it year after year, you can keep helping the rest of us!
I’m afraid it will and she’ll transform daytime talk, the last strand of innocuous, non political media, into another right wing platform.
Dear god I love Chewing Gum so much, too. So excited they’re making a 3rd season. I was not expecting to get so...involved with the characters. After binge watching over a couple of days, I was thinking about it for weeks!
Yes, every defendant, even Nasser have a right to a lawyer, but man is Shannon Smith tough to like. She’s actually proud of being a sex offender lawyer. An excerpt from her web site advertising her services:
I do think that’s a consideration to remember. But this is a huge pay discrepancy. She isn’t a six figures to his seven lesser name. She’s an established actor who has been Oscar nominated and he’s not exactly the biggest star in the world. He’s a bigger name but he isn’t setting the box office on fire everytime.
I think you’re right in general. But, specifically, like it or not, Wahlberg has been in hugely profitable action films that his agents can make the case that he contributed to the bottom line. Williams has made the kind of artistic work to satisfy herself as an actress and shown how good she is, that are not the…
Because ‘bigger name’ is a subjective standard, and subjectivity leaves a huge open door for biases and systemic prejudice to keep working. This is far from the most egregious example, but it is a piece of a very long pattern that keeps finding excuses to pay men more (including writing and casting them as leads more…
His excuse sounds right out of a bad movie... that she would be coached to tell a story like this at 7 years old. Because her mom wanted revenge... Seriously are we supposed to buy that?
For serious. I had no idea JT was invited back to the superbowl until I read this article. My jaw about hit the floor. Here we are in 2018 having a debate about whether Aziz Ansari’s bumbling and boorishness crossed the line, and JT—a man who literally ripped off a woman’s clothing without her consent in front of…
He tore off all of her clothes? Are you remembering correctly?
Ok, my memory of the “wardrobe malfunction” is admittedly not great. But, I always thought JT intentionally ripped off part of Ms. Jackson’s costume. At least, that’s what it looked like to me when I watched it way back in the 6th grade. Also, “wardrobe malfunction” was then equivalent to “alternative facts” in…
Have you ever longed to experience a version of HBO’s Rome that gobbled several pounds of hallucinogens and took off…
There was some sleaziness to his plays, but nothing that seemed outside the Tom Haverford playbook of overreaching. Certainly nothing that constitutes coercion.
