Wait, I thought Bill Nye is in the anti-GMO boat. How pro-science can he be when he agrees with those loons?

Nail ====> Head

True, but I still hate free range toddlers in restaurants more.

No reason to complain if you weren’t doing anything. I have seen in my neighborhood, a bunch of teens sitting and smoking in the playground fort, preventing the little kids from playing. These teens got and deserved a yelling.

I think it is more about the adults taking over what should be a kids activity and not letting the kids in to play.

I agree. I took my kids to Legoland when they were small and when they reached the age of 10, they didn’t want to go. They still enjoyed legos, but could not care less about Legoland.

Crying infants is one thing, but I absolutely hate toddlers running around free in restaurants. I worked as a busboy/waiter and many times I had to avoid dropping bus tubs or trays of food on the little bastards. The parents looked at me as if I was responsible for avoiding their little snowflakes.

If you, at 16, were playing and sitting on the structures meant for the 5 year olds and kept the small kids from enjoying them, then the mom may have had a point.

Got it. Didn’t know you can do that. Thanks.

How did they use the “find my phone” feature? Did they also bring laptops to track their phones?

Seriously??? There is so much water during the winter that a lot went down sewers into the ocean. It would be nice to capture as much excess water as possible when it does rain. Then the inevitable droughts would not affect the state as much.

I wonder how long it would take to create the sword without the modern tools like the power hammer, lathe, grinder, etc.?

Because nothing is truly free in this world. Sure I can have the Mormon missionaries clean my yard, but I have to listen to their preaching. Nothing is free!

You are shouting into a hurricane. No one will boycott United because there are no shortage of passengers needing to fly. There is a shortage of available flights because all the carriers overbook. So there really is no choice. It’s not like Chipotle serving tainted burritos where you can simply go to another fast

Because men are stronger and more assertive than the little women????

“Eventually, governments could step in and implement a guaranteed basic income.”

But the gasoline price never doubled when you take into account the cost of inflation. In fact it is very cheap right now. Gasoline in the mid 70's was the most expensive it had ever been.

That brings up the debate on whether it is ethical to use corn as a fuel source when it could be used to feed people.

Prices may be going up, but saying they are doubling is bit of hyperbole. If the cost of living doubles, then we are all completely screwed.

Just curious, what things doubled in price? Off the top of my head, I can’t remember anything that doubled.
