I thought this was actually an insult of her haircut, and I was getting all concerned, because I have that haircut. Then I realized it was a joke. Thank you for the winks and nudges, they mean a lot to me.

In defense of sleeping through the Finale: Tolkien did it first (The Hobbit).
Thank you! That is fantastic!
You can still do a lot of very good baked goods gluten free. My sister spent a lot of last year modifying recipes (and I got to taste test many of them, and I can't tell the difference) for desserts, and the secret, from what I could tell, was mixing a few different types of flours to get the right texture for each…
Yes! My Dad has celiac disease, and it drives him absolutely nuts that it's become such a fad. He always grumbles about asking for gluten free meals, because "they're going to think I'm a stupid health nut." And then people at restaurants are likely to assume he doesn't actually need things immaculate, which of course…
I'm considering it in general. I'm a physics major, and I'm looking for something to do over the summer. I'm doing the mid-semester "Oh god, I can't believe this is what I decided to do with my life" waffling...even though I know I'm still in the beginning stages. Meh.
I feel like it's more knowing the right stuff than being smart enough.
Seconded, I'm a tall lady, and 20 sounds about right. I have a +/- 10 on my "normal weight", and even when I get beyond that no one notices.
I love Born. I'm a 10, and my mother is a 9.5, and we both just bought . So comfy, and I think they're quite pretty, though I suppose more practical than anything.
Has anyone heard of the Our Whole Lives (OWL) program/any other participants around here? That was the entire seventh grade year of religious education at my church. It was comprehensive sex-ed, that also taught us how to say no, set boundaries, and how to recognize our own readiness or lack thereof. It was a really…
I didn't have that exciting of a location, but the part of losing my virginity that I remember most fondly was when my then boyfriend looked me in the eyes and said, "May I have your consent to make sweet love to you." A bit less aggressive, but really really sweet.
The average male height is 5'8"-5'9"
My guess would be that it wouldn't happen more than once. Abortion isn't particularly pleasant; someone who's not aware of that fact might do what you've suggested (I can certainly imagine a teenager who's still working out cause/effect doing so), but I highly doubt they'd repeat it.
Clafin looks so, so much better when he's not blonde :(
Just wanted to say Ben Jones is awesome.
My family owned a PS2 when I was younger that was bought to be used as a karaoke machine. In fact, the only games we ever owned for it were karaoke games. I would occasionally bring it to friends houses so that we could all karaoke sing together. So yes, this is a purchasing decision that people make.
I'm not even a kinda, I actually want to see it. Not in theaters, but it looks like fun.
I'm more or less in the same situation, but we actually end up talking politics a lot. I've found that arguing politics with someone I respect makes me more able to spot the holes in my arguments and makes me a bit better at understanding the other side (they're people too, yadda yadda etc.). I'm not sure I could…
Speaking as someone who went to one of those ritzy Connecticut schools (well, a public one, but it was still pretty damn ritzy), it's generally a box of chocolates and a nice card, or maybe some home made cookies. So not all that different.
I was watching No Strings Attached with my boyfriend yesterday. He was already annoyed with the unrealistic dialogue, and when they got to the sex scene and literally went straight to penetration, he was all "Wait, wait, what? How is that foreplay? How the hell is she enjoying this...wait. Is this why a lot of guys…
