@Lauren Milner: Oh dear. I think I'm going into shock. I wasn't aware that it was possible to own a computer and not at least notice that sort of thing.

@musicpup: also, a women with hemophilia would have to have a father who had hemophilia, so he'd have to live long enough to have children, and if there prior to blood transfusions and clotting agents, this was unlikely.

@sarahxo: yay teen jezzies! I'm fifteen. But personally, I think the tights with holes look like they should be in the garbage, although I like the rest of the look.

@whatsergem (has Bracket Closing Disorder: yes, it's all wrinkled and small, and it really bothers me as well. And the shoes. The left one looks really thin right at the arch, and the toe kinda reminds me of a spade. It's bad.

@torieandrahmsittinginatree: Tripp doesn't bother me that much, because I know one. He's a lifelong vegan and has never touched dairy or meat products, so it strikes me as an odd name for the palin child. I personally find Trig (it's a type of math, not a baby) much more ridiculous.

@labeled: the docs had my mom do that after her water broke with me, so I'm living testament to its effectiveness

I don't know about garlic, but I get recurrent yeast infections, so my ob-gyn has me on pro-biotic pills and something called candida-stat, which contain good bacteria and anti-oxidants to fight yeast. And if you really want something to stick in your vag, I recommend yeast arrest suppositories by vitanica.

well, that's kinda gross. Seeing acne on the surface is icky enough. I'm not so sure I wanted to see the large, white goopy pocket of pus beneath my skin.

@scaram0uche: speaking as a current high-schooler., i've noticed a trend more along the lines of if the shirt isn't short enough to tell if you have a pantyline, you aren't wearing it right

My high school has four or five openly gay male teachers, and no known lesbians. I can't help but think there's some sort of reason for this.

they seem perfectly nice, he just looks a bit manic in the screen-grab, or whatever you call the picture it shows before the movie plays

@Luxbot: That is a truly phenomenal metaphor. I'd applaud you, but I'm too busy being grossed out by the imagery.

@Dagnabbit.: someone went through my primarily-liberal town a spray painted big red Xs on all democratic signs. They're still legible, and slowly being replaced, but it was still defacement, which is just, like, not nice.

playing "where in time is carmen sandiego" was the beginning and end of my interest in history. I know lots about each of the 20 time periods it covered, and pretty much zilch about everything else.

When I was a kid (in the early nineties) my mother had a bridesmaid dress from the eighties that looked exactly like this, only mauve.

@Elizabooth: It did make me appreciate her a bit more as a person, though. I still hate her policy, but remembering that I'd like her just fine if she wasn't into politics keeps me from being as horribly mean as I want to be.

@Im Chuck Bass: when we got my dog, the family fought over what to name her. My mom and I wanted Sadie, my dad and sisters wanted Flossie. My mom and I agreed to try both names, and we all called her flossie for two weeks, at which point me and my mom switched and everyone else kept calling her flossie. We ended up

@jilla: I know a family where both the dog and the son are named billy, so I wouldn't totally rule it out.

@Sunbunny: pop quizzes. ouch. We have those in english, but the history teacher doesn't believe in tests. Instead, we have massive papers every other week, like the one I should be writing right now.
