While concurring with the assessment that a prior criminal background doesn’t necessarily matter, I would still suggest that FTA, this tidbit could be considered tangential enough to be somewhat interesting for a well-rounded discussion:

It does seem counter-intuitive, but being up 6 provides them the opportunity to keep the game at a tie if the extra point is blocked or missed (as what happened to Crosby twice).

It does come with the disadvantage though of having to chase those points if the touchdown is indeed given up and you still have time to

You can’t post this and ignore the biggest consideration for these differences... team structure.

Rough numbers:
NBA: 5 starters ~ 8 bench
NHL: 6 starters ~ 14 bench
MLB: 10 Starters ~ 15 bench
NFL: 24 Starters (O/D/ST) ~ 30 bench

What we do know if that for Orlovsky and Geno is that they’ve signed one year deals in $1-2 million range at most. Of course he’s not going to come out and say what his demands are, you don’t think it’s at least possible that someone who has averaged ~ $13m per year the last 3 years won’t be accepting a 1 year deal

By no means defending this remark, but gorillas certainly are known for charging. A quick Google search will back that up if you are looking for a myriad of examples...

Going full on Zapruder with this video, I submit this screengrab as evidence that he is clearly eating pudding. No mayo would have this consistency.

Definitely Napoleon, definitely the Raiders... but I think that was Napoleon McCallum. Kaufman just found Jesus I think.

That block at 56 seconds tho...

They did in fact get DQ’d.

But it get’s even crazier... from the official IAAF statement:

The Jury of Appeals for the Rio Games upheld the USA’s appeal, saying that Felix was indeed obstructed on the second exchange. The relay team will re-run the race alone tonight (7 p.m. ET), needing to post a time of at least 42.70 seconds to advance into

Slightly bigger sample size than Matt Flynn, but buyer beware.

Ryan Fitzpatrick is a notable omission, possibly at the 2 spot. Also, Hoyer and Johnson didn’t have cross-over... by the time Hoyer was the Houston QB, AJ was in Indy. So, technically, you could throw Andrew Luck and Matt Hasselbeck on this list (albeit a brief tenure).

Am I the only one that is bothered by the lack of formatting in the table of contents?

Leaving out of course that Smoltz set a National League record in 2002 with 55 saves, following it up with 45, and 44 in the subsequent years. He then came back to the starting rotation and two years later let the NL in wins.
