So this weekend I have dealt with a similar situation on Friday night. I mistakenly accepted a connection request on LinkedIn, because the guy and I had several mutual connections. And then Friday morning I got the email, not LinkedIn message, by email along the lines of “You’re very pretty..... etc, etc, bullshit.” I…

This is called “messaging accidentally on purpose” it’s to test the waters in an innocuous way so that if the reaction isn’t good they have plausible deniability. It’s 101 level con artistry bullshit.

Just to preempt the confusion, both real and feigned:

This is a time when public shaming would work all the way around. Shame the school district (especially the administration), shame the arbitrator and shame the shit out of the priest. They all deserve it. There has to be more than one victim. He raped a little girl, got her pregnant and walked away from that crime…

But an arbitrator has ruled that the student’s allegations are hearsay

So the 12-year-old student in the December 2018 incident reported what DeShan said directly to her. The allegation is not that he admitted to something else in that statement, the allegation is that he said the disturbing thing. How the actual fuck is that hearsay?

I hope every kid in his class channels their inner teenage wrath and just torments the guy until he quits.   

Random thoughts, because this pisses me off so much (as a person who holds a very similar job to this guy, but doesn’t make that much money):

They offend me as someone who’s legit blind as a bat, because such a huge lens is so impractical for real focus, IDK I’m not cool with people using medical devices fashion pieces. You wouldn’t wear a big hearing aid “just for the look”.

I’d rather obscenely huge glasses than those positively douchey Matrix-esque tiny sunglasses worn by Bella Hadid and co.

Actual rich people like her scam their business associates, then refuse to pay them, then declare bankruptcy to get out of the debts.

This case kind of fascinates me (as did the faux Rockefeller, who pulled his scam off for 20 years - including a long marriage).

Sadly, I am a fan of thick black over sized glasses - they give me that “I’m smug” look that keeps people away.
