The search function is especially hilarious when you’re looking for a pokemon who’s icon is already largely black and white. Like, doing a search for Unown actually makes it harder to find them because all you’ve done is change every other pokemon to a matching color scheme.

I mean, the hardware in the current Switch, to the best of my knowledge, should be able to handle 4K output with the proper firmware and Displayport chain. Being able to output 4K isn’t really the issue. It’s having the hardware to run a meaningful number of games at resolutions above 1080p. 

Focusing on 4K is a colossal waste. Focus on framerates, more complex simulations, higher player counts, ANYTHING but fucking 4K. Breath of the Wild looks just fine on my 4K set thanks to decent upscaling, and I would be perfectly contented if the next Switch remained a 1080p system.
