I haven’t tried FaceID but it seems cumbersome to set up, though it works as intended, at least according to reviews. Does it also work in (almost) total darkness? I love how my laptop instantly signs in even when there’s no light source save for the screen.

Laptops have better implementation with Windows Hello and Intel RealSense. If only they can put it on mobile. Maybe Apple’s faceID will push other companies to put out better products for mobile.
