So basically those who will only buy the Royal Edition DLC will end up paying a lot less than those who bought the season pass AND the Royal Edition DLC, all the while…

Because according to the article the Royal Edition already includes the season pass content. From my understanding if you buy the Royal Edition DLC you’d also get the season pass content, so basically those who bought the season pass before just bought a slightly early access to it? We have the same fake tree since I was a kid so it’s over 20 years old now. Still looks nice. Plus there’s no way to get a real tree in this part of the world anyway haha.
That’s always how MH demos go. Expect more variety in the final game and Capcom did mention they’ll be adding new monsters as free DLC. To be fair, the majority of the gameplay of MH revolves around attack-dodge-attack until monster flees and you follow then repeat until it’s dead or captured. The joy is in collecting…
