I’m confused by this, especially after Sony reshuffled around. AFAIK Sony gaming and Sony sensor/camera are doing great. TV is doing ok, I think. So why are they in terrible shape? Especially after they sold off the struggling PC business. I thought they’re starting to pick things up, after selling off the PC business

And I think he’s a video game and also a Nintendo fan. He probably just loves video games all in all. Besides, it’s not like Sony wouldn’t benefit if Nintendo succeeds. I’m pretty sure if the Switch is a huge success they’ll come up with a modular console themselves sooner or later.

I expected it to be like Zelda and maybe lower the resolution for it to work.

Again, do you think game development is magic? And hiring game developers is that easy? It’s not like... the Switch was in development 10 years ago and there were already 10 teams working simultaneously on 10 AAA titles. Even the biggest studios can’t do that.

What you failed to take into account is that the Joy-Cons are considerably smaller than those devices you mentioned. Err... there’s a picture above.

That is so sad and feels like a scam.. :(

:(

Hope it comes out rebranded as NintendoVerse or something....

Miis still exist.

Where?

And it’s region-free.

They probably saved some for E3. I’m sure Mario will be the star of E3, but they probably left out other things that they’ll announce at E3. And besides, they did mention that the 3DS will still live, so yeah pretty so-so year for the Switch, maybe.

My brother-in-law wants one, mainly because it’s a powerful enough portable that’s not tethered to a TV 100% of the time. That’s the same brother-in-law that wanted to save for a PS4. He’s not really a hardcore gamer, so there’s that. But still, awareness and hype is real.

You think game development is magic? That it takes 8-10 weeks to develop an AAA game?

They should flesh him out more if they insist that.

Wait there’s a separate JoyCon grip and the one we get is the dumbed down version? What the actual fuck. SMH...... I get why the JoyCons might be expensive. The rumble tech seems to be new and they probably have more precise motion controls than the DS4. But the grip. Oh man Nintendo, WHY??

Oh, I dunno. I think the fanboy here is the one that makes objectively bad decisions and decides to shit on online message boards about a product he wouldn’t even support. Or even like, for that matter. “Oh boo hoo Nintendo is bad and I don’t want to buy another product from them. BTW, I’m buying a PS4 Pro....” As if

It’s a new console. The PS4 had the same type of launch. There were no Uncharted 4 or Final Fantasy XV on PS4's launch. All we had were remasters of PS3 games. And wow good to know you’re a fortune teller, knowing what version of Fifa we’re getting. They didn’t even show that much of it.

Well good to know technology doesn’t advance. Ever.

JoyCon is included, with the grip, only the pro controller isn’t. I think they mentioned that in the Treehouse, they did an unboxing (but the stream that time were having problems). AFAIK the PS4 didn’t come with two DS4's, and a DS4 ain’t cheap.
