Aside from things like keeping your antivirus up to date and your firewall on, there are a number of applications that can help keep your network activities private.

GMail.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who thought so.

The original article said they played 100 or so games and built a named map of the room.

Aside from every comment you've left me, there's these:

I'm done. Too many of your comments are argumentative, derogatory, or downright snobbish and I mean everywhere, not just in this thread. You seem to be looking for a place to correct people so you can stand out as the better person. If you're not mature enough to see that, I'm done.

Have you ever been cheated on? Engaged? Both?

I have no regrets. Given another chance, I'd do it again.

I was taken to court for doing the damage itself. For sending all the emails as the identity of my (obviously now) ex. I didn't send a single one. I just let other people do my dirty work. Technically I'm on probation (so the state can get me to pay fees once a month), but in 2 months that'll be wiped from my record

When I was betrayed, the only way I can describe what I felt was that all the love I had for her changed over to disappointment and loathing. Maybe a bit too harsh, sometimes I think that, but then I think about how I was going to wake up to that woman every day for the rest of my life. I once wanted kids with her

If you're going to be hunting for a job in C++ or Java, then definitely take it. Tests and certifications help prove you know what you're talking about. If a boss sees you have a particular certificate, then he has at least a base understanding of what you know. If they see "ran through tutorials on the internet" then

Another great feature I recently discovered was that you can hold the Windows Key and press + or - to zoom in and out (full screen) accordingly. Mac has had some combination to do the same thing for awhile, but finally Windows gets it too.

Vote: KB SSL Enforcer (Chrome Extension) - If https is possible, it takes you to the https version. I installed it a month or so ago and I have had no problems. In fact it's so automatic that I forgot I installed it for a while. There was no configuration and you just use it.

I'm going to get a lot of people hating what I'm about to say, but hear me out and let me explain why. I condone piracy to the fullest extent. A lot of people quickly follow this up with "But Corey, you're a software developer, how can you possibly condone it?" Because everything should be free, even my own creations

I like the back-ass-wards view of the music industry... "You people don't want to spend money on my product? I'm not going to change, but you need to if I'm going to be a success!"

@FredoGodofredo: Aren't the spam filters supposed to catch this?

This is when everybody perks up and says "If only he had talked to me" but we're all a few days too late. I never knew the man but I've struggled in similar ways as he has. In an odd way, I look up to him for how strong he was to have lasted as long as he did. Several times he stated some form of hope to keep going or
