wow. until your comment I hadn't realized this was Rabin.

well, you did pick the *best* song off the album to refer to. I don't hate TKID in any way, but it's the least listened to of their albums

"a David Lynch-directed Herman Melville adaptation"\

it actually enhances mariokart and super smash bros? (to use two examples everyone here is raving about)

do you think it would be possible to sell a WiiU *without* the tablet? The most popular games don't seem to use it, and it must cost a bit to manufacture. It could drop the price significantly. Or do you think it's too tied into Nintendo's vision for the U?

it became obvious long ago that he's an insufferable asshole.

Jones is/was an odd mix. An ostensible straight person who was a complete mess in her personal life, which was occasionally mined for laughs. This made it hard for her to play 'straight'

Traeger was hilarious for one season, and if he had left at that point he would have been a highlight of the show

honestly,I think the group of people willing to buy a monthly comic to collect a story is just the wrong group to target for new readers of a project that is already completed. Put out a tpb and let people who are curious buy the whole thing.

I did this many many times as a high school student

what's with the font size??

I've listened to the album since posting earlier, and I have to say that, upon first listen, I 100% agree that there are several songs that seem to go on much longer than is required.

different people can have different interpretations of lyrics, but I don't think most people thought Suburbs was about mocking the suburbs

ah, I forgot they rerecorded it for NB. thx

you didn't like Neon Bible?

I'm going to listen on my own and make up my mind, but the comparisons to LCD SOundsystem and what I've heard them play on the late night shows is really making me nervous that this might be the first AF album I don't like. I've never understood the appeal of LCDS, who are far too repetitive, and the modern insistence

speaking of: is there no way to get the pregap track from the mp3 version? I don't even know if I own a working cd player anymore

you have no concept of a song being too long?

I get your comparison to comic book worlds, but do you have any idea how few fictional worlds are worth visiting for more than one plot arc?

I have no idea what the backstory is with HG, but I felt that books 2 and 3 suffered from opposite problems. Book 2 spends an enormous chunk of time simply replaying another Games, which truly isn't that interesting, unless it's like HP in that we've got lots of books to kill and this is meant to be backstory. But
