“Still Ray” is as amazing of a love song as it is a simple song.

i get a little pissed off every time one of these songs come on the radio that sampled “whatever you want” and it’s not actually “whatever you want.”

He’s only underrated by folks who haven’t been paying attention. Dude’s been on since I was 10. First time I ever heard the 3T’s was “Little Walter”. Been a fan every since, through all his different group and solo projects.

I have words to say about them, but neither LeVar Burton nor Fred Rodgers would approve of my language.

I mean, I wanted to say “history is written by white people who will skew the truth in order to fit their agenda” but that might not fly.

It’s a zero sum game if you want my vote and the vote of others who look like me. I will not support a bigot nor will I support a candidate who advocates for bigoted policies and I don’t know very many PoC who pay attention to what’s going on who will. It’s why I don’t vote Republican.

AA is not just about college. Unless these people are independently wealthy they may in fact have benefited from AA, they just don’t realize it. (A constant theme in this country’s history I might add.)
