You have said that, and I understand that this may seem true to you. It may, in fact, also be true for some of the women with whom you interact. But based on what women have been sharing here and in other new arenas for expression that they simply did not have before, most women want to be able to determine what

You could ask the woman if she wants to be chased, if she wants to be ‘talked... into it.’ If she says yes, chase and talk. And ask again if the chase is still wanted. If she says no, don’t chase and don’t try to talk her into it.

It is certainly possible. Don’t rely upon non-verbal cues. Rely upon verbally conveyed informed consent.

It is not nuanced.

Just so we’re clear, you are suggesting that the possibility of your strength and manhood being questioned by a woman who wanted persistence is a crisis proportional to sexual assault or rape. Did you do that intentionally or are you still sorting through what patriarchal reasoning does to our thought patterns?

So some folks think that it’s strange for two people that have literally been together ALL their lives to express affection for each other? I’m feeling deeply sorry for these negative commenters that love and caring are such alien concepts to their existence.

I tried to star this more than once, but it don’t work like that. Whenever people start waxing eloquently about Jefferson, I ask if they see him as a rapist or a beastialist. It’s a lot of fun to do down by the Jefferson Memorial or around UVA.

I did not expect that particular joy this morning. Good work humans.

“If you want to be important, wonderful. If you want to be recognized, wonderful. If you want to be great, wonderful. But, recognize that he who is greatest among you shall be a servant... Everybody can be great, because everybody can serve...”

“Dude, you do know Africa isn’t ONE country?”

We will be taking nominations for the 2017 calendar year below.

Thou, madam, doth likely hold an affinity for sugar on grits or some other ungodly heathenism. We shalt not countenance thine take.

No. I’m being absolutely serious. Everything in that movie is an extended metaphor about Black culture being stronger than the economic and environmental destruction wreaked upon it in the 70s. That is one of the greatest pieces of literature in the American canon. Even Diana’s overacting can be borne given the larger

The Wiz is one of the greatest extended metaphors in the history of American literature. Please reconsider your take.

Nope. Let’s dispel this myth.

Not a debate. Cream of Wheat is OK, but it ain’t and can never be or beat grits.

They shouldn’t, but that is the sort of shit I’d expect from corporations.
