Nope. I don’t salt until after all the other seasonings have gone in. All the ‘preshah’ in the community? I try to keep the salt fairly low. Plus, if you’re doing a veggie lasagna, the water will cook your noodles in the pan automatically.

Just sauted okra and hot peppers fresh from the garden for dinner last night. Touch of olive oil and kosher salt; excellent. Also harvested some eggplant and cooked it up with garlic, onions and even more hot peppers. Even my daughter who swears she don’t like eggplant went for seconds.
How is it that this is STILL shocking to watch? (I was going to say ‘jaw-dropping,’ but given the number of jokes about Vinsanity’s balls and that guy’s head that have already been made, I re-wrote the sentence.)
