Random thought: could they launch this alongside a new Virtual Console program for GameCube games? (PLEASE?)

Fun, I look forward to this. But at the same time.. Sony should be careful with this maneuver. Sony is riding a huge consumer good will train right now and it's certainly working out for them. All it takes is a few misplaced low blows to knock it off track. Just don't turn into a jerk when talking about Microsoft's

I get this...

The A.I. is so advanced that it tries to cover bugs.

That looks like it's about my daughter's size. I would absolutely get her that. I would NOT let her wear it to pajama day at her daycare.

Visual novels? Don't most VN players use PCs? It's not like VNs require heavy hitting hardware, so someone with a 10 year old computer should generally be able to play even the newest VNs, I would think. The only exception I can see to the PC thing would be portables, which makes them great for the DS / 3DS, but

People get upset about...everything these days. Just playing it safe! >_>

Fiat *gasp then cringe then warm up to the idea*

Piracy is a crime, Mr. Ashcraft.

Yeah the real problem most have with these speed runs is that Kotaku's writers are a bunch of sensationalists who refuse to title their articles correctly and often used to (they haven't in recent speedrun articles) avoid mentioning that it's tool assisted or glitch assisted until the very end.

News Flash: Game's Physics Are Simulated, Not Real

They did the same thing in The Last of Us. I kind of laughed at it when I noticed it.
Here's some shots I took where you can see that the reflection doesn't quite match up with what's actually behind me.

Sometimes, a seemingly minor detail can become extremely grating. Personally, I played through Crysis 2 and enjoyed it well enough (original was better, but whatever). But I can understand the poster.

This isn't a case of "laziness" as so many people who have very little knowledge about game development are so happy to claim here. It takes more work to create all the cube maps for this and apply them, than it does to simply use shaders that will fully reflect the environment. This was clearly a performance choice

Crysis 2 had this exact same problem and I stopped playing it because of it. I dont think its from rushing, its from trying to get the game to run across hardware.

The reflections are cubemaps, they're not great but you would need an insanely good pc to handle real time reflections in an entire city full of windowed buildings.

That's because it's not GTA. If you're comparing it to GTA, then yeah it'll seem like a boring experience. In Watch Dogs, if you're not in the city, then it can get pretty boring real fast. The focus point is on the hacking.

lol they rushed this fucking product like there was no tomorrow.

If all it takes is one, why isn't everyone terrified of women?

Agree completely. This needs to be discussed in any review. Reviewers are not being unbiased by sweeping a glaring difference between platforms under the rug... they are doing their readers a disservice.
