I can’t get the image of Lance Reddick with the high top and all leather out of my head, but yes he was definitely a highlight.

I found her to be fine to alright but the things they had her do where she oscillated from smart scientist, mom on a mission to just idiot jeopardizing everyone’s lives killed the character

Same thing happened with the RE show. She seemed fine it’s just that every character was written like they were an idiot.

Always thought it was a matter of empathy and companionship. There are a lot of gamers in my family and friends and those with higher empathy or that suffered the most often gravitate toward those roles.

I kinda assumed a lot of LGBTQIA+ folks develop a high level of empathy and teamwork due to their hardships, too

According to IndieWire, contestants were asked to stand still while playing “Red Light, Green Light” at 26° Fahrenheit (-3° Celsius) weather in 30-minute increments during a nine-hour filming session.

My doctor is always going on about my weight (and I admittedly do have a big ol’ beer belly) and I hover between a 30-32" waist in jeans. Usually the 32's are falling off my ass unless they’re freshly washed.

Cracks me up some people want to paint a 40" waist as average. There’s a healthy middle ground between outright shaming people for being fat, and pretending being obese is healthy and desirable.

It may be unpopular (or not, based on the replies here?) but I have trouble being upset about this, despite flirting with this limit. Universal Studios isn’t required to enable my fat ass. It’s an odd business decision to potentially exclude half your customers, for sure. But I’m not going to be outraged about it.

Agreed. About 36" waist currently as a guy and classify as overweight/borderline obese. Our increased sizes have become normalized to a terrifying degree.

Two things can be true: obese people should be treated with dignity, respect, love, and validation; and we need to confront the food problems that are causing unhealthy obesity and killing people. The former is a social issue; the latter needs to be led by the agencies who are supposedly built to help combat public

While I think they probably should have designed this to be more accommodating, but less than 40" waistline isn’t “thin”, at least for dudes.

Source: I’m around 38" and I’m a bit of a fat fuck.

I’ve had a chance to talk to the Devs about Marvel Heroes since the game shut down, and there was so much more going on behind the scenes than people realize.

Fortnite was lightning in a bottle when they recycled the first iteration. I immediately knew this game would go the way of Paragon. I often wonder if Epic will ever strike gold again, not that they have to with engine licensees being at an all time high.

They’ve become a too-big-to-fail studio internally. I hope that

If MS truly were sending contractors packing after 18 months and not retaining key personnel, well, that is pretty self-defeating. Self-induced churn. The Slipspace engine making things difficult may have manifested over time, to a debilitating degree. I just hope both issues are addressed; the engine and employee

Now playing

I’ve got a Marc rebillet clip as an alarm waking me up every morning, and I never want to use anything else ever again.

Respectfully, it would take less than 10 minutes to do some research about the state of the game or the ongoing concerns players have, including but not limited to:
- Advertised content (number of weapons, for example) is missing from the game

This is painful but our priority is providing shareholders with more zeros in their balance sheets.

Maybe if Phil had cleared out the cruft at the top of 343 preventing all the talented people from making their games faster and better (how many false starts did Infinite have? at least 2...), the game wouldn’t have been so expensive. Maybe if he pushed for a less exploitive monetization system, it would’ve pulled in

“Bad person does innocuous thing but it counts as news because people are tweeting about it” is like half the articles on the internet now.
