NO I CAN NOT GET A GRIP AND EVERYTHING I WRITE IS TOTALLY SERIOUS THAT IS WHY I AM USING ALL CAPSLOCKS AND BRINGING UP RIDICULOUS EVENTS THAT WERE TREATED SERIOUS FOR SOME STRANGE REASON

But it's still using sexism to mock sexism in the gaming industry! WE CANNOT HAVE SATIRE BECAUSE THAT IS STILL OFFENSIVE TO PEOPLE!

I'd figure they'd at least be able to make the guns look like they're made from metal rather than plastic : /

Damnit all, now I want some good french fries : (

One day you'll be able to write for Jezebel, champ. One day!

It was a well respected gaming group with a brand new developer asking for $250k, they ended up with half a million.

It sold very well at launch, roughly 1.7M in the first few months and 2.3 in the first 4ish. The problem is it hemorrhaged players at an insanely fast rate, that's why the F2P announcement was made just about 6 months after launch. As a subscription based game, it tanked, hard. The F2P transition has turned things

Yes it is. Statistically, you are hugely favored to lose. Sure, you can luck out and win big early on and quit, but it's like the lottery. The odds of you winning the lottery are so against you that you may as well not play. I mean, someone wins eventually, sure, but statistically it's a terrible investment.

After SWTOR flopped at launch (but is pretty solid now), DA2 was not being nearly as well received as the first (though I still think the first is rubbish), and the ME3 ending fiasco, they'd better hope they can blow people away with DA3.

Well, it's better than releasing a broken fucking game. Yay EA, for once.

You mean gambling lockboxes are a bad investment?! SAY IT AIN'T SO!!!!!

TLDR: Just because some random gaming groups name is attached to something doesn't mean shit.

Now playing

I feel like this is insanely relevant to Microsoft : P

There's a huge difference between customizing your outfit and your actual character.

Indeed. If I'm not mistake there have been two middle eastern/muslim assassins throughout the games.

Yeah, I don't see where the whole "customization!" bit comes in. But I guess anything to further the narrative that Ubisoft are all sexist assholes. SENSATIONALISM!!!!

Welcome to the big console boy table, Xbone.

I was talking about playable. No clue about non-main characters in AC games as I generally don't give a single fuck about that franchise.

This is what, like the 5th time in the past year someone from one of Microsoft's social media teams has done this type of thing? They really need to hire folks who actually pay attention to games and stuff. This is getting bad.

AC: Liberation and AC3 were done by smaller developers? I must have missed that part.
