I’m actually really curious how the multiplayer aspect is going to work, and I wish Bethesda just spelled it out for us.

As it is, I see some people assuming it will basically work like a small-scale MMO, with persistent worlds always occupied by other people. Where “single player” is really just soloing content and

It’s like cyberpunk with the 80s retro-futurism turned up to 11. Which I’m very okay with.

I’m hoping it’s a versus brawler in the vein of Smash Bros and the handheld JUMP games. But I’d also willingly take a co-op brawler like the article suggests. Just, not another traditional-style fighter, please? There’s been so many of those recently, and that new Soul Caliber is already on the horizon.

The gameplay was solid but story-wise the game went out of it’s way to shit on the story/lore of the prior series as well as really pushing for a different more grimdark/edgy/angsty take on the series.

I suspect the new look is to make him look less similar to Dante, while also helping to bring in fans of DmC that may not have played any of the other titles.

Yeah the biggest “wtf are you thinking” moments were branding that mobile game as Command & Conquer, and not even having a fancy title card for the goddamn Star Wars game people wanted to be excited about.

It’s like they dropped the ball and then kicked it into their own face. It certainly doesn’t help that both BFV’s

The Originals indie titles were the high point of their otherwise tepid show this year.

I’ve always thought the idea of a massive railgun/catapult that fires materials into space to be the best. Whether that’s because it’s one of the more practical alternatives, or because building a giant gun that shoots things into space just sounds badass, I could not tell you.

I’m no rocket scientist, but I’ve always been very interested in space. When I was reading up on alternate methods to reach space years ago, it really seemed like the best idea would be building a big induction catapult at a very high elevation and firing capsules into space. I’m not sure how well a person would hold

I’m sure that we’ll get a surprise segment at E3 2019 where they show off the brand new Dragon Age: Treasures, which will just be a mobile bejeweled/candycrush style game.

From what I’ve seen, the answer to every question is that “yes, definitely, sort of” response that we saw non-stop from No Mans Sky. Which makes me think that BioWare isn’t even really sure what Anthem is or how it’s all supposed to work.

I can barely ever wrangle two of my friends into playing the same game at the same time (on the same system). Jobs and adult life have pretty much killed our ability to all get online together and play something. That I won’t at least be able to supplement my team with NPCs, and would have to resort to basically

They don’t really seem to talk about what Anthem is, instead just focusing on things it has, like they’re working off a checklist and nothing else. Which reminds me of how Sony and Hello Games talked about No Mans Sky pre-release. Which does not give me a good feeling.

Just Assassin’s Creed and Beyond Good and Evil 2 would put Ubisoft pretty firmly ahead of EA’s “lots of sports, also a shooter or two, and fuck you C&C fans.”

Wars is pretty generous. I’d say Generals was the last decent C&C game.

The indie games looked pretty good. I think that might have been the high-point of the conference. Anthem looks like it might be good, but every time it’s been shown off so far has been in a very ‘talking around it’ way, much like Sony did with No Mans Sky. Which concerns me.

C&C, Ultima, and Wing Commander were some of my favorite game series growing up. My hate for EA runs deep.

I think it was a facebook or browser game. Though I did think it flopped like a dying fish.

Tiberian Sun was also really good. A shame that EA had to fuck over Westwood and turn C&C into a joke.

Thiiiisss. I am so incredibly furious right now. Fuck EA for fucking up one of my favorite series and turning into this... this shit.
