Eh, the combat was okay when it released (at least I thought so). Basically a small step forward from ‘ye olde’ EQ and WoW scheme. Definitely behind now, though.

And yeah, the ‘freemium’ conversion was really one of the worst ones, which totally killed the game for me.

I specifically want the Xbone Elite/Pro/whatever controller (with the paddles) because I think it would be great for PC games with more complex/numerous controls like space sims and MMOs. I’d be kind of surprised if there isn’t some [3rd party] program to map keyboard commands to modern controllers.

I used to use

The stories are definitely uneven. Some of the Jedi stuff is good, but all-in-all they’re not the best. I want to say Bounty Hunter was my favorite, but it’s been a while since I played. I quit sometime after the shift to free-to-play, as I got fed up with so much content being shoved into stupid pay-boxes instead of

If I’m understanding them correctly, that would kind of be both.

Objectifying very large breasts = Fetish
Being super into motorboating = Kink

Seems pretty straightforward to me.

The succubus and incubus should both be basically naked, though I’m perfectly fine with some ‘clever coverings’. Like the succubus’s hair covering her nips and both posed so you can’t see their nethers. Or maybe some sort of demonic loincloth as their only covering.

Totally agreed that most of the monsters shouldn’t be

It’s been a while, but I believe this is correct. IIRC, X’s whole point is that while he has the laws, they’re not hard rules coded into him. He’s specifically built to be able to truly make his own decisions, and “feel” the consequences. Which is why he gets so emotional over the games.

The Reploids are a copy of X,

Super Buu has a long head tendril and very human-like hands. Kid Buu is tiny mix of Super Buu’s design and... uh... normal Buu? The one that’s not Super, Kid, Fat/Good, or Old/Evil. With the less-human hands and head.

I actually think this looks a lot like THAT Buu. This one:

Yep! As far as the actual real-world reason, it’s down to... well, I don’t really want to say laziness, but that’s basically it. All the humanoid races share the same skeleton and base model, in order to keep from having to modify the armors/clothes and animations for each race.

It’s really the thing that most bugs me

The best solution for self-driving cars is to not only fit the cars with sensors, but also the roads. And, of course, network everything together. The roads tell the cars when an area is residential, or when objects are in the street. Of course, this would be massively expensive. Honestly a better solution would just

The environment in FH3 looked pretty good, but otherwise I actually thought it looked the worst. In terms of the car, interior view, and effects (rain and damage) thought it looked worse than not only DriveClub (which looks the best, hands down) but also NFS (great lighting) and The Crew. The last of which looks

Oh man, I LOVE Bethesda’s games, and their attention to world building, but yeah. The combat, it is not their strong suit. The melee stuff is especially bad, which is why I tend to favor ranged weapons (bows for life in TES!).

It’s not that they ignored it. They knew it would be an issue from the start. Robert’s has always wanted the unified model, primarily to provide unified animations (so you can tell what your crew is doing at a glance). The pitch has always had a huge focus on first-person multiplayer play.

Again, I can understand

Yeah, as far single player FPS’s go, I’m a big fan of some subtle headbob and as much extra model as I can get. I love it when I can look down and see most of my arms, some leg, or even a little torso! :P

And there’s no pressing need for a fully functional player model in game where you’re [almost] always in FPV.

Even if the game collapses, this is the former. Solving the issues of a unified model is a great advancement for multiplayer first-person games. It’s kind of the interesting thing about Star Citizen. Even if they totally FUBAR the game, CIG has still made great technical strides that absolutely should cause ripples in

That’s not the issue being addressed here. In Crysis you don’t have a head. You’re a floating camera that’s had artificial “headbob” motions added. Which is perfectly fine (geat even!) for a single player game.

But in multiplayer titles the industry standard requires building two sets of models, animations, and

There is no head. You’re a floating camera. Though yes, devs have taken to adding- or giving the option for added- slight headbob (usually when running).

This should be in the next big patch, which will be expanding the FPS play.

It often is indeed placed around chest height. Usually around where the pects would be, the base of the neck if you’re lucky. If you poke around you can find images of what the FPV model looks like in TPV, and it’s terrible. :P

It’s less re-creating the wheel and more like working to create a rubber tire that doesn’t crack like stone or wooden wheels do.

The system that damn-near-every FPS uses hasn’t changed significantly since the genre’s inception. For FPV, you’re a floating camera (usually around chest height) with a pair of arms
