When I first learnt about Skinner Box mechanics from Extra Credits my first thought was "hey, that's a hell of a lot like farming in Runescape". Farming was introduced to Runescape in 2005.

Yeah but they don't respawn very much so if you're grinding you sometimes have to range quite far from town to find any. I think if you get a certain number of mini maps away from an area then that area respawns, but I'm not sure.
I'm seventeen and hope not to be raising children for quite some time.
I couldn't be much happier that Amnesia got the first shout on this list.
1 - I'm not criticising the children for falling prey to those marketing tactics. I'm criticising society in general for preying on children.
Yes. And I dragged my parents around getting them to buy me Pokémon cards. However, I did this because I loved Pokémon and because my friends also collected cards, not because the Pokémon games had such flagrant adverts for withheld content in them.
This is insidious. It is consumerism nearing its worst. I hate it. I loathe it. There is no explanation necessary for why it's wrong, and yet it happens. Fuck. FUCK.
Looks like Lootfest from a different perspective. Meh.
Fun fact: "all the best" is a minor 'meme' in the BioWare offices meaning "I just fucked you over and there's nothing you can do about it. I'm going to keep your money and never give you KotOR 3. It's also hilarious that we're called BioWare, because we're not really made up of BioWare employees at all! HA HA!"
I'm pretty certain that 400 corresponds to a different amount in dollars depending on where you are already. Not 100% mind. Just pretty certain.
Looks very nice and I will probably end up buying and playing it, but I wish it was Star Wars. Oh X Wing Alliance... I miss you.
Interesting, but it won't affect me unless other publishers follow suit.
So, basically, it's normal BioShock with Vita Chambers disabled (or tweaked to be less abusable - not really clear) and more focus on specialisation and scrounging.
That is from the 21st of December 1998.
A lot of tasks in life are challenging only by their size - things that are simple and monotonous but huge. Cheating your way to the top of a leaderboard or any MMORPG ever made are examples of things into which people can put in just an enormous amount of time but be lauded for non-existent skill instead.
Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha...!
Did they fix the writing?
Keep fighting the good fight man.
I seriously need to replay this game because I was totally underwhelmed by it the time I did play through it and can't fathom why it got so many GOTY awards.
Oh my GOD!
