Side Note: If a car company makes a convertible, they should have to make a removable hardtop for it. I mean, they can pretty much charge whatever they want and people will pay for it as long as it looks like it comes from the factory!

More restrained interior styling does not mean more refined. Build quality is on par.
In what way? Both use mostly soft plastics and have nice solid sounding closing doors. Have you actually driven both? Both are comfy. I would say the gti is more classsic/restrained interior styling (which I do prefer) and the focus is more futuristic/edgy interior styling, but both are very similar build quality.
I am also tired of hearing that. In what way is the gti grown up? Most people rocking gti’s are flat brim hella stanced bro types. Not saying the stereotypical ST owners are any better, just noting a lot of gti owners aren’t as “mature” as they are always claiming to be.
the Focus ST starting msrp is $1200 less expensive than the GTI. The ST makes 252hp, the GTI makes 210hp. Interiors are both very good so, can’t use the interior refinement argument like it used to be. I think the ST is pretty INexpensive when you look at it this way.
