so, let me get this straight. ted started off his first date with the mother by telling her a story (within a story) of how he spent DAYS trying to out-douche gary blauman with his knowledge of teddy roosevelt in order to sleep with a woman he's just met? ted, ever-classy and ever-charming.

i enjoyed watching modern family and workaholics back to back last night and imagining the two shows take place in the same world.

i understand the author's call, so as to avoid redundancy, for individual character growth in blake, ders, and/or adam. but isn't the stagnancy of their development more true to the show? here we are in the middle of the fourth season and these dudes are doing basically (and hilariously) the same thing day in and day
