: ) Yep, you're either in the "read the books as a kid" camp, or you only know the 1939 version.

I thought it deserved a Lot more success than it got, it's really a pretty good film

So funny to remember my grandparents thought the Beatles were definitely a case of "The Emperor Has No Clothes" back in the 60's and early 70's.

You're complex.
Ok, you're dead… happy now, extremely strange person?
Sigh, I can remember watching that as a cartoon (it was originally a spin-off from The Archie cartoon) as a kid in the '60's…. 1. I'm old and 2. it must be a fairly good idea to be recycled so many times.
Even when I was a child, I didn't think "Lucy" or much of what passed for comedy back then was funny. It was just too dumbed down, even for a kid.
That's such a shame! I thought it was a great flick, now apparently underrated.
It's already like going to the icky, local video store back in the day… stupid, obscure movies and not much in the way of TV. Only think I watch on it anymore is MST3K.
Work as hard as I have kids, and you will have a right to brag.
Ok, somewhat feeble jesters.. I'm a professional graphic designer. I am also a professional illustrator. AND I personally know the editor of Cracked (from the 70's and 80's) who compared some of my drawings to his.
Shoot… he was brilliant! I have been inspired by his work for decades… you gotta go sometime, but his work WILL live on!
