YES! Came here to post this.
Finally someone recognizes the brilliance of the E39 530i 5MT. Aluminum front subframe and rack and pinion steering make for better handling than the 540i or M5 (steel front subframe and reciprocating ball, plus larger engines = much more front end weight)!
Seriously! I'm trying to watch at work (which is totally OK because my boss is a team principal in GTD) and I'm trying to stream the FOX broadcast but the stream isn't available through xFinity or Fox's website, but I can watch it on my iPhone. Then they switch to FoxSports2, which isn't on any website or the mobile…
I daily drove a classic convertible in and around Seattle for the majority of a year. That majority was, of course, through the winter months. I carried not one, but two raincoats as well as gloves and three, yes three towels in the car at all times. One rain coat was for my arms and head. The second was to be draped…
Ah yes. Good Point. Can't believe I messed that one up haha
Giorgetto Giugiaro.
Haha of course it's POA. Also that picture looks like it's from the 90s
I just love Bizzarrini things. And that 7 Litre hood.
I raise both of you a Jag XJR 15.
Oops! I know you meant to post a picture of the Iso/Bizzarrini AC3/Corsa instead of the Grifo.
This was absolutely fantastic. I've always love Chris Harris' stuff; His whole attitude and composure towards sports cars - and cars in general - is fantastically entertaining. This discussion was sublime, the topics covered interesting, and the comments and opinions insightful, if not totally hilarious.
My vote goes to the Vauxhall Opel Lotus Omega Carlton (or some amalgamation of those)

Well, shit. Glad I got to go at least once!
Flint Flossy. All across The Nation.
you know it might actually fetch more than if it were in restored condition. Recently some of the unrestored, original examples of very sought after cars have been going for more and more money.
Mostly because I never expected to see one in the States. I thought they weren't allowed in. I was more excited to see that Zonda for a single second than I was when I got to spend an hour staring at, and talking to, a 25o GTO and it's owner. Quite underwhelming actually.
Sounds like me when a Zonda cruised past me on the Golden Gate a few months ago. I frightened the others in the car...
YES! This is the absolute BEST 'Traffic Jams' yet. Well done.
