John McCain is someone who is hard to put into context, I think.

Well he is a guy who was cool voting for legislation that would strip healthcare coverage from millions of Americans forcing them to choose between dying horrible deaths or bankrupting their families so I get why people may feel a certain way about this.

Really? A member of the GOP that is in favor or legislation that will make your B ain cancer diagnosis something that will put you in the poorhouse.

I honestly don’t give two fucks about John McCain. He gets to die surrounded by family without having to worry about burdening anyone with insurmountable medical debt because of his excellent insurance and considerable wealth. All the while, poor people who face similar diagnoses will not fair anywhere near as well…

As much as I dislike McCain, I’m sorry to hear about that. Cancer sucks. And from what I’ve read, this is the sort of cancer with a pretty low survival rate.
