Maybe they bought someone? I’ve recently found that thanks to recent mergers and buyouts Safeway=Albertsons=Randalls=Tom Thumb=United=...

I’ve been filling ziplocs with cereal and powdered milk to have for breakfast on backpacking trips since forever, but it wasn’t something I gave much thought to outside of that niche.

Is there any benefit to spatchcocking (spatchdrake-ing?) the duck? Or does the amount of fat and/or the low and slow cook times make that unnecessary?

Maybe because we primarily order online for work lunches and the app and website use Panera branding exclusively, but my St. Louis colleagues and I use Panera and Bread Co pretty interchangeably. Maybe 60/40 split favoring Bread Co.

You mention you’re from St. Louis in an article about breakfast and don’t mention the slinger? Everyone’s favorite hangover remedy/ plate to ruminate over bad decisions?

I’m always sure to stock up when visiting the family down in Texas. (I could order it online, but the cost of shipping, man).

My grandmother- born in West Virginia in the mid 20s, lived most of her life in Ohio- always called bell peppers “mangoes.” I never figured out if that was a regional dialect thing or unique to her. I certainly haven’t ever heard it from anyone else. I also never did learn what she called actual mangoes.

39% of millennials (ages 18 to 34) said cereal was inconvenient because you have to clean a dish afterward.

Oh well. Better plan a trip down to St. Louis for some Imo’s (which I still haven’t had yet) and a block of the good stuff.

I wondered where they were getting that. I had assumed they were conflating him with Chronos from Justice League.

I was thinking sausage kolaches could be Texas’ contribution to the hot dog genre.

Though the word “reindeer” is included in the name, Alaska’s version of hot dogs don’t typically feature reindeer—the meat tends to be a blend of caribou, pork, and beef.

Yeah, when you’re opening storefronts in Alaska Bush towns only accessible by air, where else is there to go? Although I guess I have to give them some sort of credit for getting into markets that anyone else wouldn’t bother it.

I thought hard soda was mostly supplanted by hard seltzer. Are all the alcoholic beverage fads of the last decade converging into hard soda-flavored hard seltzer?

Cutscenes aren’t as smooth and the graphical shift between them and the regular game is more jarring

Springing for the extra $10 for the physical version so I don’t have to waste time (and bandwidth) downloading 100 GB or whatever I already own on disc.

It’s just now occured to me that both Fett and Maul became crimelords after their recoveries from certain doom.

Tip Number 7: Do this at the conclusion of every meal.

I will never forego an opportunity to watch the Fifth Element and have seen it an unreasonable number of times. That movie is just so much damn fun.

Now playing

And then Batman Beyond somehow managed to make Freeze more tragic. He was trying to atone, reconstruct his connection with humanity, and it was all for nothing.
