I dunno, the idea that you’d turn down Monty Python unless they added a diversity hire or two seems like a kinda dumb and an unhealthy approach. If you’re in a position to commission such things, you need to be conscious of who you are and aren’t representing across your whole slate, and plugging holes were possible

So do you think that the cast of MP took applications and denied admission to POC? This criticism of Monty Python for being “white” is preposterous. What matters is that they were funny and groundbreaking. Could they be funnier if they were comprised of POCs? Such silly speculative history. Like, maybe The Beatles

As someone who knows and enjoys RLM, and who watched this review and knows what youre talking about, posting a 44 minute video with no further introduction or explanation really doesn’t help you get across your point very well.

Really? The look of the film is one the things critics hated the most. For example...

You and me both. I loved Hammy for the first couple of years, even met him briefly in 2008 and he looked like a perfectly nice guy. Then he gradually went full #blessed retard.

Except he doesn’t. His involvement in the espionage scandal has been one of the most disgraceful acts a driver has been linked with.

Counterpoint: no, he doesn’t.

I guess we have very different definitions of “fantastic.”

Yeah, the most that vehicle will ever move again is from his carport to David Tracy’s backyard where it will slowly return to the earth.

Sounds like the landlord is doing the kid a favor. He’s about to graduate.. Apply for jobs, and become a full fledged adult. This means: time to grow up. As much as I like wrenching, obviously this kid doesn’t have the time/space/money to do it.

That’s not wrenching, that’s creating an eyesore and leaving it for two months while you play X-Box.

Sometimes you have to make the tough choice and cut your losses, to hell with sentimentality or “I’ll get to it someday”. That day almost never arrives. Learning to recognize that you’re in over your head is a sign of maturity.

Yeah. Honestly its not worth it (but im not a jeep guy). Just sell for parts and start with a fresh new project after graduation.

He’s had months to fix his problem and now he wants to be rescued. Again.

That had nothing to do with the TSA.

There is a MUCH easier solution.

While I appreciate the Bowling references I agree 100%, perhaps more.
