One’s stance on LaVar Ball is a terrific litmus test of whether you agree with talent or corporate. That fact he offers the latter a convenient excuse (sometimes he’s boorish!) makes this even more apt.

This is incredibly unfair to Jack Cust, who showed up to Twitter once, nailed his only tweet, and left.
John Jaha, bar none. All he did upon arriving in Oakland was eat donuts and hit dingers (and, probably, take a lot of steroids).
“Preston Wiginton”... “Apparent white supremacist”.
A’s had Dollar Night—tickets, dogs, sodas, were all a buck—back in the day. In high school we’d take $10, down a dog an inning. In other news, I no longer have stomach lining.
One teacher let kids eat in class. Each week we’d each get a foot long burrito, followed by a dozen Krispy Kreme donuts. It’s a shock I currently purchase Alka Seltzer by the barrel.
The A’s used to have a Dollar Wednesday promotion—tickets and hot dogs were each $1. Every Wednesday we’d take BART and bring $10 and down a dog an inning.
Nice.
Thanks! Despite the ballpark, I haven’t found a reasonable place down here in Southeast. However, Mama’s Pizza delivers.
What’s the best sports bar to watch the game in the district tonight?
I spent a summer writing about minor league baseball players and teams, and I absolutely believe teams that treat players better will be able to save plenty of money on the back end through home town discounts when negotiating salaries. Not to mention the fact that a proper nutrition program pays dividends in on-field…
This was not how I wanted to find out Burrito Brothers closed. A fine establishment, where Rick Scott was boo-ed on their patio.
