Throughout that whole tilt up I was thinking “Damn, Veronica!” and then it got to her face and I was like “DAMN, ALICE!!”

Exactly. When she didn’t change her grip at all (because she still had to use her other hand to hold Lena) it came across as a really manufactured beat.

I’m not saying she shouldn’t have done it, so much as I’m saying that, if children start turning up with symptoms of lead poisoning, it’s not at all unreasonable to think “Oh yeah, this could be because of all that lead we dispersed into the atmosphere six months ago.”

When Kara said to James “You don’t seriously think she did it, do you?” I really wanted him to ask if there was a good reason why he shouldn’t.

“I can carry either 80% of the plane with one hand, or 20% of the plane with the other hand, but not both!”

It became inevitable as soon as he showed off Des and Troy.

Also, screw him for dressing his daughter as a police officer.

Agreed. I was prepared to jokingly add ‘Leader of a cult devoted to her’ to the list of “People Who Somehow Can’t See Through Kara’s Disguise”*, but then he did and it just made me laugh at how everyone else on the list somehow can’t/couldn’t.

He also failed to kill Archie’s dad, so I’m willing to buy into Jughead’s (joke) explanation that the dude just has terrible aim.

One shudders to think what a film designed to the specifics of CinemaSins’ tastes would even look like.
