I always appreciate a deep cut guess like that, but I think he was meant to be either 'The Stan Lee Character' like James Moar suggested, or Uatu. As for why he looked like himself and not a Watcher, I'd say it's because if he didn't it wouldn't truly count as a cameo. That said, I'd have absolutely loved it if they'd

This is true. They aren't hiring anyone new either above or below the line, the major locations aren't going to change, and principal photography won't even start for two more months.

Not at all the point you were making, but the fact that there apparently won't be any time jump whatsoever between VII and VIII is the most disappointing piece of non-Carrie-Fisher news we've gotten since the acquisition.

In the Empire/First Order's defense, once you figure out how to make a satellite dish that can one-shot a planet, there's pretty much nowhere to go but down. (Short of miniaturizing it enough to fit on a Star Destroyer, I guess.)

Re: your first point: Disney likes money, but they also, for the most part, recognize that better-told stories make more money and for longer. You don't get to be one of the biggest media conglomerates in the world by making movies that nobody wants to watch a second time.

"I know all about your family, Penelope. And the incest."
"What? What incest?"
"I mean… you can kinda just throw a dart, right?"

I mean… he was dead the next time we saw him.

Yeah, something was definitely off about those last few Blossom scenes.

I genuinely, 100%, did not register it as an effect.

So who's gonna be the first to cop to the fact that they didn't even blink at the digitally de-aged Kurt Russell in the first scene?

Like the episode itself (and maybe the season, and arguably a lot of Coen stories), it was cyclical.

Danny and Ward are co-heads of Rand now. Joy's out. And someone that you probably don't even know exists turned evil. Oh! And K'un-Lun is missing.

If I had to guess, I'd say Trump's dick is physically impossible to choke on.

I think that whole thing is a bunch of bull, especially since they started free with ads.

LC is clearly significantly better, but I do prefer IF to DD2 at least a smidge, if only because nothing on-screen in DD2 interested me at any point.

Universal only holds distribution rights at this point, meaning Marvel could make a Namor (or solo Hulk) movie if they wanted, they'd just have to share some of the profits after it came out.

You can always give it a try eventually, but it's unlikely that it contains any essential information for Defenders. Or at least not any information you can't just infer from Danny's scenes here.

Sometimes I wonder if people intentionally come by these comment sections saying they've only seen half of Luke Cage, just to see how many identical responses they're gonna get.

In his defense (and for what I'm sure is the umpteenth time), he apparently wasn't even given time to learn to fight for Iron Fist.

I meant that we needed Mack to make a forced one-liner and get knocked out immediately.
