My beef with Brave is that the last hour of the movie is spent resolving a conflict that has virtually no overlap with the conflict the first half hour set up. And then the finale acts like both conflicts were the same all along.

I'm a Disney Store cast member myself, so you don't need to tell me that Cars sells, ha ha.
I don't keep up with Dreamworks the way I do Pixar, so I can't say in terms of pure quality, but Pixar is still putting out good stuff.
Eh, cute and nice are pretty much the last words I'd choose to describe The Good Dinosaur, a film that seems to have no moral other than 'the world is cruel and violent and WILL kill you if you aren't strong enough.' It's basically The Revenant for children.
Sounds like someone hasn't been keeping up with Pixar's recent, non-Inside Out releases.
The Good Dinosaur, easily.
"Maybe… I shoulda hooked him up to Bessie… and then… took the boot off."
He actually does say that in the first movie.

Obligatory comment pointing out that in the year 2017, Cars is far from Pixar's worst movie, and Cars 2 might have actually escaped that distinction as well.
I feel compelled to point out that there is in fact a sequence in Snow White where Snow teaches the dwarfs the proper way to eat soup.
Surprisingly good avatar/comment synergy here.

Hmm… I definitely wouldn't say I have a niche - that's a major reason I'm doing this - but I do gravitate towards rock. No strong preference for any subgenres, though.
I was actually debating between Close to the Edge and The Yes Album to finish off my Rock Hall month. Guess that's settled.
I decided to treat myself for my birthday this week and picked up the omnibus version of The Superior Foes of Spider-Man. I'm not quite halfway through it and liking it a lot.
That'll slot nicely into December.
My new year's resolution has been to improve my musical education by listening to at least one album per week that I've never heard in its entirety. To avoid picking at random, I've been going with themes. January was Bowie, to commemorate his birthday/the anniversary of his passing; February was black artists through…
It's not okay that we still don't know which Howling Commando was Tripp's grandfather. It feels actively lazy at this point, like they're scared to say Gabe Jones but can't be bothered to pick another one. And they even teased us in this episode!
I'd switch the odds for Hope and Evil Fitz.
