"That was MY MONEY!!"
"Do you mean that in the sense that you stole it yourself, or what? Because otherwise we literally just established that it wasn't."
I can't wait for Daredevil S3 when Gao gets a chip in her brain that stops her from harming people selling heroin and has to become Matt's reluctant ally full-time.
She was affiliated with K'un-Lun from the get-go, which was fine.
It's pure plot mandate. If they hadn't taken him there, then the Hand wouldn't have been able to steal him back.
Just picked up the first volume of Jason Aaron's Doctor Strange based on a friend's recommendation. Hopefully he's right because my comic budget is pretty tight nowadays.
The showrunner approves - or chooses someone to approve - every single creative decision that goes into the season. They also head the writers' room and ghostwrite the final draft of any script that doesn't meet their standards.
If you can't blame the showrunner for a show's flaws then by definition you must assume that it blinked into existence fully formed.
Nope, OP is correct.
Well, three heroes.
Do they, though?
"I don't even know what I'm saying or doing until someone takes it the wrong way."
I also find it amusing how her dire warning carries surprisingly little weight, given that even she didn't see the Hand do that much.
I feel like Claire has two roles at this point.
It's a good thing that single, charismatic leader is gone, because this nebulous, faceless, no-clear-motive thing they've got going on now has worked out great.
Adding a mask would solve a lot of problems, but you do have to ask, in the context of the show… who's he hiding from? I've seen the first seven episodes at this point, and everyone he's fought either knows who he is, or has no idea who he is to the point where a mask wouldn't make a difference.
And didn't Gao actually sell out the Hand to Matt near the end of DD S2? Or was that the Blacksmith's guys she sold out?
Is Dawson even doing anything particularly special? I feel like any sarcastic teenager could sell Claire's above-it-all attitude about as well as she does.
Sure, I agree with all that, I'm just saying that if they fought, Danny would win. The fight may look either great or terrible depending on what creative team was brought on to do it, but based on their track records, Danny would win, and do it easily.
So Danny is a terrible fighter who can take down multiple opponents at once without injury, and Matt is an amazing fighter who can't go two episodes without getting stabbed?
