You can take the steam product key and upload it on GOG, and you are good to go. I did that to get the witcher III discount on the preorder (even GOG tells you to do that if you have it on other platform)

You can actually redeem any copy of the Witcher 1 and 2 with GoG, including the Steam copies.

I’d imagine you could simply move the old save file from steam folders to the place the gog version would scan for old saves.

I work in the electronics department at Toys R Us. One day, I had a random kid start chatting me up, being suspiciously friendly and telling me how cool I am and how awesome my job is, and then he says he’s going to get his grandma and come back.

We go on hiking adventures in the woods or embark on road trips together. Otherwise, my video game experience is rather solitary since my buddies aren’t gamers. In the event I need others to play with online though, that’s what random match making is for. :-)
