Why do you a disservice and strain your eyes when you can at least barely enjoy it on console? I wonder if it is worth it playing it undocked while becoming blinder by the second and with the battery being unable to provide much gametime...
Playing it on current consoles is the bare accepted minimum for your eyes to not bleed...
I really wonder how consistent the framerate will be, it looks like a very significant graphics downgrade.

Well, I remember that the last story boss made me not mash the auto attack and paradigm shift as much as I did with the rest of the game, and I did learn the nuances of the battle system, every battle before felt easy and rushed, I wished to skip it all honestly, it was no fun.
In any case, as per what you said, the game could’ve been enjoyed if and only if it was a boss rush game... So for ME in my opinion, was boring and lame, (XIII-2 also for me, never played the third one, name escapes me)

A race against time for having the skill of selecting menu choices and paradigm shifts while auto attacking.
At least with a gambit system similar to XII’s, it could’ve become a deep and satisfying combat system.
