Possibly, but the argument is compensating YouTubers.

I’m not against YouTube Red, but I’m not against Adblock either. I’m just against invasive, manipulative, potentially dangerous ads. I personally think that if YT dropped the price a bit, more people would jump on board.

It’s more about YT Red vs Adblock. Use Adblock for free and creaters don’t get paid, or pay for YouTube w/o ads and creators get paid.

Or even the occasional 45 minute ad.

If I feel inclined to support a content creator, I’d donate or become a sponsor. I feel that's a more honest way to show support than being subjected to ads.
