man, I've always been a massive fan of DOOM, but when the Quake games were new-ish, I never had a computer or system to play them, but after recently reading Masters of DOOM, I decided to finally play Quake, and I'm really surprised how well it holds up. It's still a ton of fun.

Hopefully, a reboot of Quake goes back to the dark fantasy theme and ditches the cyborg aliens.
