Oh come on.. it's not about being "truly" creative. Mark screwed them on something with big potential, that's all.

Pretty harsh. You can't really blame these guys for feeling the way they do. Mark screwed them, and it was dishonest. I'd hardly call this bitching but they definitely don't feel good about the way they were treated by Mark and with good reason. My take is that they have actually sucked it up and moved on already…
Does that excuse Mark for what he did to these guys and his dealings with them and others?
You don't like Apple?
Kin was hardly a "darling"
You're just noticing this now? It's been this way for a long, long while. From constant self-promotion to cross-posting and irrelevant content to insensitive editorials. It's only just been ever more egregious with "tweet"-style content lately along with the new site. Where's the breaking point?
This is nothing new, has always been the case.
Welcome to the new Gizmodo!
I love how you're sensitive in getting all worked up about the fact that the commercial's been pulled but other people are too sensitive in getting worked up about the commercial itself. The fact is it was done in poor taste but I suppose even poor taste is now subjective.
I agree with you but damn is this a bad idea. Yes, form is just as important as function and it is a concept that is underappreciated and overlooked as somehow not important. And it's great that there is an effort to try to do something different but this is not the thing to do. This design is a bad design. With…
What's with the boobs/nipples in the center?
@RuckingFetard: Yea, F the future!
@iceph03nix: lol likely if such a thing ever happened (doubt it), you could just buy your porn (do people still do that?) with another payment method. Such a thing isn't even done on Mac OS X where you can install and run whatever you want outside of the Mac app store. So funny that people jump to conclusions based…
@sam4sb: I suppose that could be possible but it's Apple we're talking about and they would want the entire experience to be through them, not to mention the increased profit incentive.
@jepzilla: That sounds incredibly short-sighted. Apple's effort would spur the industry with others to follow suit. Or in Google's existing case, make the playing field much wider and receptive to such a system.
@geolemon: Read the third paragraph. By integrating NFC into every iPhone 5 with Apple's usual philosophy to make sure their major features are integrated tightly and highly touted, and iPhone users' comparatively higher tendency to actually use and spend money on things, NFC system adoption would be a lot faster and…
@countjackula: Even a netbook is expensive if you only have $100
