Who watches Bachelor thinking they’re going to see Black love? Has there ever even been a Black contestant that didn’t purposefully do the Kardashian vocal burr, talk about their diverse upbringing in the suburbs or espoused ANY pro-Black sentiments besides their own desire for personal uplift and promotion?!

Black love?  Who finds love on this show, don’t most of the couples break up after they get engaged?  I don’t have any use for a show that treats people like cattle at auction for someone to pick and choose over.

I KNEW that this nonsense would be posted today. I knew that you’d ignore the fact that every single bullshit trope about Black men would be utilized. It’s not an accident that out of the many Black men they could choose, they would choose someone that is mixed, has NO relationship with his father, played ball in

The RD DVD had a number of Tierney recollections from the cast. Some tidbits I recall:

Apparently he stole a knife, which was NOT a prop knife, at some point, so I’d be scared of him, too.

“This story falls victim to the criticism that a lot of people have toward gay representation in the early 2000s and the 1990s—that queer characters are always tragic,”

when your country is known for ripping off other peoples idea, this is what an original thought looks like

If she is trying to bring Morrison to her white friends, could be they would better embrace Morrison via white lady vs Black lady. Yes it would have been move for her to acknowledge the space she is entering into by discussing the book but does she need to?

Almost invariably means “we will work you shamelessly hard, and expect you to do it for love not overtime pay.”

“We’re a family” is always a coercive tactic...

I dunno, none of those professions seem as radical or as dangerous as her old job as a stripper and escort who would drug and rob men.
